W e do this every Tuesday, with or without me, at the SPARK at School of Musical Traditions (7112 Willow Ave., Takoma Park, MD). Signup before we get started at 7pm, randomized list. Tis the best free night of entertainment in Takoma Park on a Toosday in my opinion. House piano, webcast, 2 songs or 10 minutes whichever's shorter, family-friendly. A really Lovely night actually. Last week it was a little slow. I filled time by going around the list again FAST, but tonight we didn't need to take any such measures. After a BRUTAL drive down to Takoma Park (the Purple Line is nearing completion and they seem to be just randomly closing streets - google maps hasn't caught on yet and had me hoping to turn THROUGH what's going to be a train station eventually...) it took me a little time to get things set up simply because I was so BEAT, but once we were up and running we had a joyous night. I think... I don't want to say for sure, but I THINK... I even got a little emotio...
